Trade unions invoke business to speak against Labor Code

The Federation of Trade Unions of workers in small and medium enterprises of Ukraine who is working in Ukrainian markets of entrepreneurs want to oppose the adoption of Labor Code of Ukraine which is now under the consideration in the committees of Verkhovna Rada. According to UNIAN in the Federation of Trade Unions of workers in small and medium enterprises of Ukraine, about this the chairman of the Federation Viacheslav Roi declared speaking on the extraordinary congress of market’s workers of Ukraine which was taking place in Odessa.

“We, the trade unions, didn’t keep silence when it was necessary to stop the adoption of the Tax Code which destroys small and medium business, - Viacheslav Roi said. – Now we invoke you not to keep silence when the Verkhovna Rada is preparing for adoption the project of the Labor Code in which the rights of the trade unions and employees are eliminated”.

V.Roi is sure that the total reliance of employees from the employers won’t help the prosperity of small and medium business.

“Your business, - V.Roi applied to the delegates of the congress, - is vitally needed for you and your employees, but not for the government and political opposition. In critical for your business time you will be protected by the millions of your employees united in the trade unions, but not the officials and the deputies from the opposition. Therefore we suggest you not to interfere, but assist in the creation of primary-cells in your enterprises”.
